Overview
Orchiopexy is a procedure that repairs undescended testicle(s). It involves incision at the groin and scrotum to dissect and fix undescended testicle(s) within the scrotum.
How to prepare for the procedure
Orchiopexy is performed under general anesthesia. When preparing to have a procedure performed under anesthesia you can expect to start fasting the night prior to your procedure. The procedure will be done at the outpatient surgery center.
